Dashboard
A dashboard is simply a visual representation of the key metrics for a set of data contained in one place. This allows the user to quickly view and analyze the data. The user can also easily filter the data to display the desired information. In addition, the dashboard can quickly be refreshed when data is added or updated.
Typically, a dynamic dashboard is created by using PivotTables and PivotCharts, along with a Timeline and Slicers to easily filter the data. Here are a few examples. The sample workbooks can be downloaded using the links below.
